  Day 1 

Fly to Dublin Airport (overnight)

 

Day 2

Tomb of St Patrick - Belfast City - Giant’s Causeway

Our first visit will be to the tomb of the patron saint of Ireland, St Patrick. We will then visit the capital of Northern Ireland: Belfast, where the Titanic Museum sits on the site where the famous passenger liner was built. Our final visit will be to Giant’s Causeway, one of the most beautiful sites in Ireland where an ancient volcanic fissure created basalt columns off the northern coast. 

 

Day 3

Tomb of St Valentine - Tomb of Bl John Sullivan - Tour of Dublin

We will travel from Belfast to Dublin where the remains of the famous St Valentine await us, which were given by Pope Gregory XVI in 1836. Then we will visit the tomb of Blessed John Sullivan, a Jesuit priest of extraordinary holiness who embodied a great message of forgiveness. We will spend the evening visiting Dublin City Centre.

Day 4

Tomb of Bl Matt Talbot - Glendalough 

In the morning we will visit the resting place of Blessed Matt Talbot, a man with an inspirational conversion story that offers hope for us today. Then we will travel to Glendalough, a gorgeous Early Medieval monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. 

 

Day 5

Clonmacnoise - Westport 

We will travel by bus to the site of one of the oldest pilgrimage trails in the world and monastery founded by St Ciaran in the 6th century: Clonmacnoise. We will then visit the quaint town of Westport. 

 

Day 6

Croagh Patrick - Crew Bay Cruise 

On this day we will hike up Croagh Patrick, the mountain that St Patrick himself prayed and fasted on during his mission in Ireland. We will then return to Westport to take a boat tour off the beautiful west coast.

 

Day 7

Our Lady of Knock - Galway City - Cliffs of Moher 

We will begin by visiting the National Marian Shrine of Knock, where the Virgin Mary appeared in 1879. We will then visit Galway City and then continue on to the picturesque Cliffs of Moher!

 

Day 8 (Scotland extension)

St Andrew’s Cathedral - Glasgow City

For those who choose this extension, we will fly from Dublin City to Glasgow, where we will visit St Andrew’s Cathedral, the patron saint of Scotland. Then we will spend time in the lovely West End of the City to sightsee. 

 

Day 9 (Scotland extension) 

St Mary’s Cathedral -  Edinburgh City

The extension continues with a bus ride to Edinburgh, where we will stop at the cathedral and then spend the day seeing the highlights of the city: the impressive Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the Real Mary King's Close and the Grassmarket. We will then fly back to Dublin Airport. 

Day 8/10 

Fly from Dublin Airport to DFW.
