Medjugorje

  DAY 1 SUNDAY 

CITY OF ORIGIN / DUBROVNIK / MEDJUGORJE 

Flight to Dubrovnik. Arrival and visit of the ancient city, where we can visit the Franciscan monastery, the Church of San Blas, the Cathedral and the port of this beautiful medieval city. Continuation to Medjugorje. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation. After dinner you can take a first walk through the Sanctuary. We can go to pray at the Risen Christ statue nearby from which water emanates.

 

DAY 2 MONDAY

MEDJUGORJE

This morning is dedicated to getting to know the Shrine and surroundings of Medjugorje. We will start with Parish of St James, where the image of the Virgin of Peace and an esplanade where the they celebrate mass gatherings. Celebration of the Eucharist in a chapel. We will continue with the Pobrdo (the town), where the houses of the visionaries are preserved. We will get to the hill of appearances, where we will have an explanation of the appearances by an official guide of the Parish. We will be able to pray the Stations of the Cross while we climb the Mount of Apparitions. In the afternoon, we can get to know the Cenacle community, where we can hear the testimonies of its members. At 6pm, we will go to the Parish to pray the Rosary. After mass from 7:00 p.m. the religious objects will be blessed and at 8:00 p.m. Veneration of the Cross

 

DAY 3 TUESDAY

MEDJUGORJE

Celebration of the Eucharist. Free morning at the Sanctuary. Possibility of going up to Kricevac praying the Rosary. In the afternoon we will make the excursion to Mostar and explore this beautiful city where the West and the East meet. It is a multi-ethnic city, with cobblestone streets full of churches and mosques. We will visit the famous bridge over the Neretva river, rebuilt after being destroyed in the last war. Return to Medjugorje. Blessing of religious items. Prayer for the health of the soul and body and recitation of the Holy Rosary: ​​Glorious Mysteries. Dinner and accommodation. 10-11pm Eucharistic Adoration

 

DAY 4 WEDNESDAY

MEDJUGORJE / DUBROVNIK / CITY OF ORIGIN

Celebration of the Eucharist. Last morning at the Sanctuary. Lunch at the hotel. Transfer to airport to take the flight to city of origin.
